Agra shock: Woman CA accuses in-laws of pressuring her to have child with brother-in-law

Agra (The Uttam Hindu): A sensational case has emerged from Agra, the Taj city of Uttar Pradesh, that shames humanity and relationships. A female Chartered Accountant (CA) working for a prestigious multinational company has leveled serious allegations against her in-laws, including mental and physical harassment and attempted rape. Based on the victim's complaint, police have registered a case and launched an investigation. However, the woman's ordeal has shocked everyone.
The victim alleges that her marriage was based on deception. At the time of marriage, a very sensitive and serious illness related to her husband's health was hidden from her. When she came to know the truth about her husband some time after marriage, her condition in her in-laws' house went from bad to worse. When questions arose about having a child, the mother-in-law, disregarding social norms, made a disgusting proposal to her daughter-in-law. Citing the need to continue the family lineage, the mother-in-law started pressuring the daughter-in-law to have a child by having physical relations with her own brother-in-law.
The limit was crossed when, under this pressure, the brother-in-law tried to force and molest the woman. When the victim gathered courage and informed her husband about the entire incident, she expected him to support her. But on the contrary, the husband and other in-laws beat her severely to suppress her protest and silence her. In view of the constant threats and danger to her life, the woman's parents and relatives intervened and rescued her from her in-laws' house and admitted her to the hospital for treatment.
In this serious case, a case has been registered against the in-laws at Agra's Shahganj police station under sections of fraud, attempted murder, mental harassment, and rape. ACP Loha Mandi Gaurav Singh confirmed that the police have registered an FIR based on the woman's complaint and are thoroughly investigating all allegations. The station in-charge stated that the investigation is ongoing and strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
