Bomb threat rocks Patna civil court: Judges' chambers allegedly targeted, premises evacuated

Patna (The Uttam Hindu): Panic gripped the entire Patna Civil Court complex today after another bomb threat was received. The threatening letter was sent via email to the Civil Court and the District Bar Association. The email claimed that bombs had been planted in the court premises, prompting the administration to immediately evacuate the entire court complex.
Talk of RDX in judges' chambers and washrooms
The threatening email contained extremely sensational and dangerous statements. The sender stated that four RDX bombs had been placed in the judges' chambers and washrooms, which would be detonated via remote control. Security agencies were alerted upon receiving this information. All judges and lawyers quickly left their chambers and went to safe locations. Court operations have been completely halted for security reasons.
Court turns into police camp, dog squad deployed
Police from Pirbahor police station arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident. As a precautionary measure, the police sealed the court premises, not allowing anyone inside. Prisoners and witnesses who had come for hearings were also turned away at the gate. Patna Police, with the help of a bomb squad and dog squad, conducted a thorough search of the court. Security has also been increased at the Patna City Court, although no explosive material has been found so far.
Third threat in a month
The continuous threats have raised concerns among the police and administration. This is the third bomb threat against the Patna Civil Court in the past month. Previously, the administration received similar threatening emails on January 8th and January 28th. In light of these repeated incidents, security has been tightened at all courts across Bihar, and visitors are being closely monitored.
