Deputy CM's chopper in peril: Keshav Maurya's helicopter fills with smoke, makes emergency landing at 2,000 feet

Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu) : Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had a narrow escape on Saturday. His helicopter had to make an emergency landing due to a sudden malfunction while en route to Kaushambi.
According to reports, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's helicopter was flying from Lucknow's La Mart grounds to Kaushambi when it suddenly experienced a technical snag. Consequently, the helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at Lucknow Airport. Sources claim that the helicopter suddenly filled with smoke, forcing an emergency landing.
However, all the people on board the helicopter are safe. The helicopter is being thoroughly inspected for security reasons. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has decided to travel to Kaushambi by road. Keshav Prasad Maurya was scheduled to reach Kaushambi at around 11:30 am on Saturday. According to the Deputy Chief Minister's office, he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the 'Saras Mahotsav' at the Maa Shitala Devi Guest House in Saraya, Kaushambi. After this, he will interact with public representatives and party officials. Meanwhile, during his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister will hold meetings with departmental officials in Kaushambi and also conduct on-site inspections of various projects.
