Blood Ties Broken: Son Kills Parents, Sister with Axe Over Land Dispute

Ghazipur (The Uttam Hindu): A heart-wrenching incident has come to light today from Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, where a son brutally murdered his own parents and sister with an axe for a piece of land. After this triple murder, the accused fled from the spot. On receiving the information of the incident, senior police officers reached the spot and started investigation.

This gruesome incident is from Nandganj police station area of Ghazipur. According to the police, the accused Abhay Yadav was having a dispute with his family over land for a long time. Due to this dispute, he committed this brutal incident today.

Ghazipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Iraj Raja, who reached the spot, said that the reason behind the murder is land dispute. Investigation has revealed that the head of the family, Shivram Yadav, had about 2.5 bighas of land. Some time ago, he had transferred one-third of his total land to his married daughter Kusum Devi.

Son Abhay Yadav was very angry with this decision of his father. He felt that his father had done injustice to him by giving the land to his sister. In this anger and resentment, today he killed his father Shivram Yadav (65 years), mother Jamuni Devi (60 years) and sister Kusum Devi (36 years) by chopping them with an axe.

All three died on the spot. After committing the crime, the accused son Abhay Yadav, who worked in a private factory in Ghazipur, fled from the spot. The police have taken all three bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem.

SP Dr. Iraj Raja said that three teams have been formed to arrest the killer son, who are raiding all his possible hideouts. He claimed that the accused will be arrested soon. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of mourning and panic in the entire area.
