The police are now actively searching for the main accused and his brother who committed the murder.

Pathanamthitta (The Uttam Hindu): A case that shames motherhood and humanity has come to light from Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Angered by the incessant crying of a daughter at night, a lover, along with his partner, strangled her 8-month-old daughter to death. Three years after this sensational incident, the police conducted a thorough investigation into the case and arrested the mother of the deceased and sent her behind bars. The police are now actively searching for the main accused and his brother who committed the murder.
The mother, who had started living with her lover after a dispute with her husband, strangled her daughter when she cried
According to the investigation, the accused mother, Manji, had a dispute with her husband, Iskki, in 2023. Following this, she took her 8-month-old infant daughter with her to Alappuzha. There, she met a man named Sivan at a shop in Kalarcode. Sivan, under the pretense of caring for them, took them to Changanassery, where they began living in the veranda of a shop. One night in August 2023, when the innocent child began crying incessantly while sleeping, Sivan lost his temper. Instead of trying to calm her down, he brutally strangled her, resulting in her death on the spot.
Together with her lover's brother, they dumped the body in a swamp, the secret revealed three years later
After the murder, Sivan and Manji enlisted the help of Sivan's younger brother, Sakthi, to conceal the crime. Together, they dumped the girl's body in a marshy meadow in Valanjavattom, under the Pulikeezhu police station jurisdiction. On August 12, 2023, the police recovered the body of an unidentified girl from a swamp, but she remained unidentified. Recently, when Manji returned to her old colony in Palakkad without the girl, the local colony promoter became suspicious. When Manji became evasive when asked about the girl, the promoter immediately informed the police. When the police took her into custody and interrogated her rigorously, Manji broke down and revealed the dark truth of three years ago.
Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed, raids underway to search for both absconding brothers
After appearing in the court, the accused mother Manji has been sent to judicial custody. Considering the seriousness of the case, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of Thiruvalla Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) P.R. Santosh. Police have named Sivan as the main accused, his brother Sakthi as the second accused and Manji as the third accused in the case. Several police teams are continuously raiding possible hideouts to arrest the absconding main accused Sivan and his brother Sakthi.
