Deoria (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, where a family had to pay a whopping 8.5 million rupees for the taste of momos. A Class 7 student became so addicted to momos that he committed a major theft in his own home. Cunning momo sellers exploited the child's addiction and innocence, luring him away and stealing valuable jewelry worth lakhs of rupees.

Victim made by luring free momos

According to the complaint filed with the police, the child loved momos. Taking advantage of this, the momo sellers hatched a conspiracy. They initially offered the child free momos for a few days and got him addicted to the shop. When the child fell into their trap, they stipulated that if he brought jewelry from his home, he would receive free momos every day. Driven by greed, the child gradually began taking out gold and silver jewelry from his cupboards and giving it to the shopkeepers.

When the cupboard was opened, the family was shocked

The entire incident came to light when the family became suspicious and checked the cupboard. They were shocked to find all the precious jewelry missing from the cupboard. When the child was interrogated strictly, he fearfully revealed the truth: he had given all the jewelry to the momo vendors. According to the family, the total value of the missing jewelry is approximately 8.5 million rupees. Acting on the complaint filed by the child's father, the police have promptly registered a case against three momo vendors and are investigating the matter seriously.
