Pregnant Woman Brutally Murdered by Husband in Hyderabad, Body Mutilated

Hyderabad (The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Hyderabad, Telangana. Where, a husband brutally murdered his pregnant wife. The husband's brutality is evident from the fact that he killed his wife and cut her body into pieces. The police have registered a case regarding this incident.

According to the police, the accused had already thrown the head, hands and legs into the Musi river, while the woman's torso was recovered from her house. 21-year-old Swati was five months pregnant. The accused husband Mahendra works as a driver in a ride-hailing company. Police say that after the murder, he cut the body into pieces and threw some parts into the river. After the murder, Mahendra called his sister and told her that his wife was missing. The sister got suspicious and informed a relative, who took her to the police station. DCP P.V. Padmaja said that during interrogation, Mahendra confessed to the murder. The police have taken the accused into custody and his interrogation is going on. With the help of divers, the body parts thrown into the river are being searched. The forensic team has collected evidence from the woman's torso and DNA tests will be conducted for identification. The woman's father has demanded justice in this matter.
