Raj Thackeray's Historic Visit to Matoshree After 6 Years, Warm Hug from Uddhav; Can the Thackeray Brothers Revive Their Alliance?

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): There was a big political upheaval in Maharashtra politics today when Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, ignoring all speculations, reached his cousin Uddhav Thackeray's residence 'Matoshree' after about 6 years. The occasion was Uddhav Thackeray's birthday, but this one meeting has created a new stir in the political equations of the state. Uddhav Thackeray, forgetting all the old things, himself came to the gate and welcomed Raj Thackeray with a warm hug.
No one in the political circles expected this meeting. According to sources, on Sunday morning, Raj Thackeray suddenly decided to go to 'Matoshree' to wish Uddhav Thackeray on his birthday. He called Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut directly from MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar's phone and said, "I am coming to Matoshree to wish Uddhav on his birthday."
Sanjay Raut immediately gave this information to Uddhav Thackeray, after which Raj Thackeray left for Bandra from his residence 'Shivtirtha' in Dadar.
As soon as the news of Raj Thackeray's arrival at 'Matoshree' spread, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the workers of the Thackeray faction present there. When Raj Thackeray's car reached the gate of the bungalow, the workers surrounded him and raised slogans of 'Jai Maharashtra'. Sanjay Raut himself was present at the gate to receive him.
However, the most shocking scene was seen when Uddhav Thackeray, who usually does not come to the gate to welcome anyone, himself came out to welcome Raj Thackeray. The two brothers hugged each other. On this occasion, Raj Thackeray presented a beautiful bouquet of red roses to Uddhav. The meeting between the two lasted for about 20 minutes.
Let us tell you that this is Raj Thackeray's first visit to Matoshree in almost six years. Earlier, on January 5, 2019, he had gone to Uddhav's house to invite him to his son Amit Thackeray's wedding. Recently, after the two brothers came together in the 'Marathi Vijay Rally' held in Worli, the speculation of an alliance had cooled down, but today's meeting has once again fueled the discussions of the Thackeray brothers coming together in Maharashtra politics.
