A train at a railway station turns crime scene as man lures and rapes 14-year-old girl with false promise of marriage

Sahibganj (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking and deeply troubling incident has come to light from the Taljhari police station area of Sahibganj district. A 14-year-old girl was raped in an empty train carriage at the Maharajpur railway station. A young man living in the neighborhood committed this horrific crime and fled the scene. Acting swiftly on the complaint of the victim's distraught family, the police have registered a case and are actively searching for the accused.
The victim was working at her brother-in-law's tea stall
Regarding the incident, the victim stated that she was cleaning her brother-in-law's tea shop near her home. The accused, Parmesh Mahato, a resident of Naya Tola, arrived. Since he was a resident of the neighborhood, he easily enticed the girl with his words. He lured her and took her to Maharajpur Railway Station.
She was deceived into marrying him, then she was taken to a carriage and brutalized
After reaching the station, the monster Parmesh tried to deceive the girl for about 10 to 15 minutes by promising to marry her and began pressuring her. He then took her inside an empty train carriage parked at the center of platform number one. In that empty carriage, the accused committed the heinous crime of raping the minor. After the incident, the accused, Parmesh Mahto, left the girl there and fled the scene.
The girl returned home crying, police are searching for the accused
Somehow, the distraught and frightened girl reached her home and tearfully narrated her entire ordeal to her family. Upon learning of the incident, the family was devastated. They immediately reached the GRP police station and informed the police about the entire incident and lodged a complaint against the accused. GRP station in-charge Kailash Mahato said that an FIR is being registered based on the complaint of the victim's family. The girl's medical examination has been completed and raids are being conducted at possible hideouts to arrest the absconding accused, Parmesh Mahato; he will soon be sent behind bars.
