Moradabad (The Uttam Hindu): Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into an alleged incident involving a minor student in Bilari town of Moradabad district. The victim's family alleges that while returning from college, some female students assaulted her and forced her to wear a burqa.

In the complaint given to the police, the brother of the Hindu girl said that my minor sister used to go to a teacher's house in Mohalla Shahkunj Colony of Bilari town for tuition. The coaching centre is 1.5 km away from my house. The other five Muslim girls also used to go with her. My sister was friends with these girls in class 11th. All of them were from the neighbourhood and nearby areas, so they used to go to school and tuition together. The girls started brainwashing my sister. All five of them kept instigating her to convert to Islam. They tried to create hatred towards Hinduism in her mind.

My sister fell for their trick. She wouldn't even listen to her family. Despite being told not to, she continued to go to school and coaching classes with those Muslim girls. On December 20th, the Muslim girls left their tuition classes. Then, on the way, they forced my sister to wear a burqa.

During the investigation, some CCTV footage from the scene of the incident has also surfaced, which the police have taken into their custody and have begun examining. The police maintain that an impartial investigation is being conducted, taking all aspects into account. Some social organizations have also expressed their concern and demanded a thorough investigation into the entire incident.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kunwar Akash said that a case has been registered under relevant sections based on the complaint. “The matter is being investigated. Further action will be taken based on the facts that emerge from the investigation.”
