Bengaluru (The Uttam Hindu): A woman was allegedly molested and robbed in public in Bengaluru. According to reports, the incident occurred while she was walking her pet dog near her home. An unknown man not only molested her but also snatched her valuable mobile phone during the scuffle and fled.

According to the FIR lodged by the woman, the incident took place on the night of November 7 at around 10:30 pm.

The victim stated in her complaint that while she was walking her pet dog, an unknown man approached her. He first asked her if he could touch her dog and then began talking to her.

When the woman felt uncomfortable and tried to leave, the man allegedly suddenly touched her inappropriately.

The woman said she immediately pushed the accused away, but he tried to attack her again. In self-defense, she struck him on the head.

During the scuffle, the woman's Google Pixel 7 Pro phone fell to the ground. As she screamed for help, the attacker allegedly snatched the phone and fled the scene.

Police have registered a case based on the woman's complaint and are searching for the unknown suspect. Police are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area and the investigation is ongoing.
