Amazing video shows robots dancing and fighting like humans

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A video is going viral on social media showing Chinese robots performing impressive acts that have left viewers amazed. In the nearly four-minute clip, humanoid robots can be seen dancing, performing martial arts, doing backflips and engaging in sword fighting on stage with human-like precision. The video is from the 2026 Spring Festival Gala hosted by Chinese broadcaster CCTV, a major annual event known for showcasing a blend of culture and advanced technology.

The grand programme was held in Yiwu, a city of around two million people, where several leading robotics companies demonstrated their innovations. Firms such as MagicLab, Unitary Robotics, Noetics Robotics and Beijing Galbot presented humanoid robots that highlighted significant progress in motion control and artificial intelligence.

During the performance, Unitary Robotics featured martial arts-themed robots that performed coordinated stick and sword fighting alongside human artists. MagicLab’s “MagicBot Z1” impressed the audience with a full 360-degree rotation, while Noetics robots performed side flips and backflips within a limited 12-square-metre stage area. Despite sharing the stage with human performers, the robots completed the entire four-minute show smoothly without technical interruptions, showcasing the growing capabilities of advanced robotics.
