New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Aiming to permanently solve the battery crisis in the Indian smartphone market, Realme is launching its new phone, the Realme P4 Power 5G. The device will arrive in India on January 29th. Its biggest highlight is its massive 10,001 mAh battery, making it the industry's first commercially available smartphone with such a large battery. The company aims to free users from the dependence on power banks and charging cables, ensuring uninterrupted phone usage during long trips, gaming, and work.

A large battery often means a heavy and thick phone, but Realme has changed this perception. The company has used silicon-carbon anode technology, which provides high energy density without increasing weight. This is why, despite having a 10,001 mAh battery, this phone is the world's thinnest and lightest smartphone in its category, weighing just 219 grams and measuring 9.08 mm thick. The space-saving battery architecture gives it a sleek design, unlike traditional thick phones.

The phone also meets standards in terms of safety and durability. It is the world's first 10,000 mAh+ smartphone to pass military-grade shock tests and receive a 5-star rating from TÜV Rheinland. It features a five-layer battery protection system. The company claims that the phone operates safely and stably in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 56°C.

The phone is designed to last. It uses the Titan Long-Life algorithm, which maintains battery health even after thousands of charging cycles. The company is offering a four-year battery health warranty, which claims to retain more than 80 percent health even after years of use. It is designed to meet the eight-year battery health standard, so that users do not have to upgrade their phones frequently. After launch, the Realme P4 Power 5G will be available for purchase from Flipkart and Realme's official website.
