After 19 Years, Uddhav & Raj Thackeray Hint at Reunion: ‘Maharashtra Above All’

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): There is a big stir in Maharashtra politics. The news is that Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday expressed their desire to forget their differences and unite for the interests of Maharashtra and Marathi people. Raj Thackeray has proposed to his cousin Uddhav Thackeray to join him.
The MNS chief has said that Uddhav and his fights are very small in front of the existence of Maharashtra and Marathas. Maharashtra is very big. It is not a difficult task for them to come together and live with Uddhav. Raj Thackeray said this during a podcast with film director Mahesh Manjrekar. While proposing to Uddhav Thackeray to come together, Raj Thackeray made it clear from his side that he has no problem in coming together with Uddhav. Both can come together for Maharashtra.
Uddhav Thackeray's statement has also come out on the proposal of joining hands with Raj Thackeray. Uddhav says that there was no quarrel from his side. He is ready to come together for the benefit of Maharashtra. Uddhav Thackeray also seems to agree with brother Raj Thackeray's proposal. He has indicated to work together. Uddhav said that for the betterment of Maharashtra, he is ready to leave petty fights and move forward. He said that if we had taken the right decision, we could have formed the government at the center and the state. First go with them, then oppose them, then make adjustments, this will not work, only the future of Maharashtra, then whoever comes in between, I will not welcome. Let us tell you that Raj resigned from the party on 27 November 2005 after declaring Uddhav as his successor in Shiv Sena. After this, he formed his own party 'Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena'. Then the relations between the two were not good.
