Amit Shah's Warning to Naxalites: 'Won't Let You Sleep Even in the Rain'

Raipur (The Uttam Hindu): Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who reached Chhattisgarh, once again announced the end of Naxalism by 31 March 2026 at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Raipur campus of the National Forensic Science University and Central Forensic Science Laboratory on Sunday. Along with this, he warned the Naxalites and said that if you do not lay down your arms, you will not be allowed to sleep even in the rain.
He said that the biggest achievement of Vishnu Dev Sai's government in Chhattisgarh and the state's Home Minister Vijay Sharma is that they started the stalled anti-Naxal operation at a fast pace. I have seen that since the formation of the government, not only has the anti-Naxal operation been sharpened, but it has also been guided from time to time. The police and security forces have been encouraged and this fight has been carried forward efficiently. I had said in Chhattisgarh itself that on 31 March 2026, this country will be free from Naxalism and I would like to reiterate today that the way the security forces have shown valor, we will definitely achieve this goal.
Home Minister Amit Shah warned the Naxalites that every time the Naxalites used to rest during the rains. But this time we will not let them sleep even in the rain. I want to appeal again to all those who have gone astray on the path of Naxalism to surrender and join the development journey of Chhattisgarh. There will never be a better chance to surrender than this. I assure you that the promise made by the central and state governments will be fulfilled. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Home Minister said, "The foundation stone of NFSU and CFSL is being laid, as well as the transit campus of the university is being inaugurated, in which 180 students will start their education in courses like BSc and MSc in Cyber and Forensic Science."
Amit Shah said that the NFSU campus is proposed to be built at a cost of Rs 145 crore from the Centre, while the CFSL will be built at a cost of Rs 123 crore. In total, both will cost Rs 268 crore. He said, "I want the youth to trust PM Modi and understand that their degree from NFSU will also guarantee their job."
