Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, arrested by NIA at airport upon arrival from US

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : Anmol Bishnoi, a key member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang and his younger brother, was extradited from the United States to India on Wednesday. Upon landing at Delhi's IGI Airport, the NIA immediately arrested him.

After Anmol's return to India, the Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Mumbai police will take action sequentially in the cases filed against him. The Delhi Crime Branch has also filed FIRs against him in two major cases. In 2023, Anmol extorted crores of rupees from two industrialists and even ordered shots fired at their homes as a threat.

According to sources, after the arrest of several members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the dismantling of its network, the influence of the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs is rapidly increasing. Many of their shooters are said to be active in Dubai, Canada, and the United States, weakening the Lawrence group's international influence. Some time ago, a gang war between these two gangs was witnessed for the first time in Dubai, where the Godara gang brutally murdered one of Lawrence's active shooters. After the murder, Godara claimed responsibility by sharing a photo of his neck and openly threatened the Lawrence gang.

Following this gang war, the growing influence of the Godara group had increased Anmol Bishnoi's anxiety. It is reported that he feared for his life due to threats from rival gangs. Therefore, Anmol chose to surrender to agencies in the US, which enabled Indian security agencies to bring him back to India.
