Big News: AAP's Anmol Gagan Mann Quits Politics, Resigns as MLA

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and former minister in Punjab Anmol Gagan Mann has announced to quit active politics. On Friday, she gave this information through a post on social media and requested the Assembly Speaker to accept his resignation from the post of MLA.

In her brief statement, she wished the party all the best and expressed hope that the Punjab government would live up to the expectations of the people.

In her resignation, she wrote, I am very upset but I have decided to quit politics. My resignation from the post of MLA to the Speaker should be accepted. My best wishes are with the party. I hope the Punjab government will live up to the expectations of the people.

Anmol Gagan was elected MLA from Mohali and was also the Tourism and Culture Minister at one time, but for some time she was away from political activities.
