Shocking: Man Kills Pregnant Wife, He Ate, Drank and Stays with Dead Body for Two Days
Bengaluru(The Uttam Hindu): A chilling murder has rocked Bengaluru, where a 20-year-old man brutally killed his 22-year-old pregnant wife and stayed with her decomposing body for two days, eating meals and drinking alcohol in the same room before fleeing. The accused, identified as Shivam from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, suspected his wife Sumana’s character and frequently argued with her.
According to police, the couple had married against their families’ wishes six months ago and were living in Bengaluru for the past five months. On Monday night, a heated quarrel turned violent, leading to Sumana’s death. Shockingly, instead of informing anyone, Shivam continued living normally, cooking, eating, and drinking beside the corpse. The crime came to light when neighbours complained of a foul smell, prompting police to break into the house on Wednesday and discover the decomposed body.
Shivam fled the scene but was traced and arrested within 24 hours using technical surveillance. Sumana, who was three months pregnant, has been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. The gruesome case has left the entire locality in shock and horror.
