Imphal (The Uttam Hindu) : BJP staked claim to form government in Manipur… Big news is coming from Manipur. The news is that 10 MLAs in Manipur met Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday and staked claim to form the government. Among these MLAs, there are 8 BJP, one each from NPP and Independent. They claimed that they have the support of 22 MLAs. After meeting the Governor, MLA Radheshyam said, 'We have the support of 44 MLAs and all BJP MLAs are ready to form a government representing the will of the people. We urge the Governor to consider our majority and take immediate action. The Governor is expected to review the claim and take a decision as per constitutional provisions.'
