New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Panic gripped the national capital once again as multiple schools received fresh bomb threats on Thursday. In the latest incident, six schools including those in Dwarka Sector-5 and Prasad Nagar were targeted with threatening emails claiming bombs had been planted inside the premises.

Authorities immediately evacuated the schools and sent children back home as a precautionary measure. Soon after, Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and fire services rushed to the spots and conducted intense checks. However, no suspicious objects have been found so far.

Notably, such email bomb threats to schools in Delhi are becoming disturbingly frequent. Just a few days ago, 32 schools across the capital had received similar threats, sparking chaos among parents and students. Earlier on Tuesday night, the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in Malviya Nagar also received a bomb threat via email.

According to reports, the email was sent around 9 PM on Tuesday night to the school’s official ID. The management discovered the threat when they opened the email the next morning. The school was immediately evacuated and the police informed. A thorough search operation lasting over an hour was carried out with the help of a bomb squad and dog squad, but nothing suspicious was recovered.
