Shocking Attack on Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Inside Civil Lines Office, High Drama at Delhi Secretariat
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident of attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has come to light. The incident took place on Tuesday during a public hearing session at the Chief Minister’s office in Civil Lines.
BJP Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva strongly condemned the attack. Party spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor stated that a man carrying papers entered the public hearing. He used abusive language in a loud voice and suddenly launched an attack on the Chief Minister. Police officers present at the spot immediately caught the accused.
According to sources, the accused is about 35 years old. He first handed over some papers to the CM and then allegedly attacked her. Police have started a detailed investigation into the matter.
