Gangsters Bhanu Rana of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang arrested in US, Georgia; extradition to India pending

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Indian security agencies have achieved a major international success. Gangster Bhanu Rana, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been arrested in the United States, and notorious criminal Venkatesh Garg has been arrested in Georgia. Both face serious charges related to murder, robbery, extortion, and organized crime.

According to sources, Bhanu Rana is an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and was instrumental in the gang's operations from abroad. He is believed to have acted as the mastermind in several extortion and ransom cases in India. He has been detained with the assistance of US agencies and will soon be extradited to India.

Meanwhile, Venkatesh Garg was arrested by local police in Georgia. He was wanted in several states and was hiding abroad using fake documents. Investigating agencies say both criminals are part of an international criminal network that operates organized crime in India from abroad.

The NIA and Interpol are working together on this case. The agencies stated that Red Corner Notices have already been issued against both accused. The Indian government has initiated the formal process for their extradition.
