New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): A missile attack has been carried out on children collecting water at a refugee camp in Gaza. According to information, many people have died in this attack.

Most of the dead were children. On the other hand, the Israeli army called the attack a human tragedy and clarified that it happened due to technical fault and the target was somewhere else. The IDF said in a statement, "We regret the loss of innocent civilians. The incident is being investigated." Local officials said that at least 8 people were killed and 17 injured in the attack. The attack took place at a water distribution center in the Nusrerat refugee camp, where local people had gathered to fill water. Ahmed Abu Saifan, emergency doctor at Al-Awda Hospital, said that 6 children were killed and 17 others were injured in the attack.

Let us tell you that Gaza has been facing severe water shortage in recent weeks. Due to fuel shortage, sewage systems have also stopped working, leaving people dependent on public water distribution centers. At the same time, the Israeli army's attack on the Gaza Strip continues. So far more than 58,000 people have lost their lives, more than half of whom are women and children. 139 more deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
