Mumbai(The Uttam Hindu): Veteran Bollywood actress and the iconic “Dream Girl” of Indian cinema, Hema Malini, has made headlines after selling two of her luxurious apartments in Mumbai’s Oshiwara area. The multi-crore deal has sparked speculation about the reasons behind her decision.
According to documents accessed from the Maharashtra Registration Department (IGR) and shared by real estate portal SquareYards.com, the transaction was completed for a total of ₹12.50 crore. Both apartments, located in the upscale Oberoi Springs project in Andheri West — a neighborhood home to several Bollywood celebrities — were registered in August 2025.
As per the registration details, each flat has a carpet area of approximately 847 sq ft and was sold for ₹6.25 crore, inclusive of one car parking space. To complete the deal, a stamp duty of ₹31.25 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000 were paid for each property. While the financial details are public, the reason behind Hema Malini’s decision to sell these prime properties remains undisclosed, leaving fans and industry insiders curious.
