Rain Havoc Returns to Himachal: Dam Breaks in Malana, Several Vehicles Swept Away – Watch Terrifying Video

Shimla (The Uttam Hindu): Continuous rainfall across Himachal Pradesh has created havoc, and the Parvati Valley in Kullu district is the latest to bear the brunt. A sudden flash flood triggered by relentless rain has caused partial damage to the cofferdam of the Malana-1 Hydropower Project, as per the District Disaster Management Centre (DDMC).
The sudden breach resulted in the washing away of several heavy vehicles, including a hydra machine, a dumper truck, a rock breaker, and a camper or car. Fortunately, no loss of human life has been reported in this incident.

A new video capturing the moment of the dam’s partial collapse has surfaced, showing a horrifying visual of the gushing water racing downstream with immense force. The footage shows how the floodwaters, unleashed like a storm, swept through the lower areas, triggering panic among locals.
