'Didn’t Know It Was Their Last Ride’: Four Young Lives Lost as Creta Crashes into Truck, Families Shattered

Hisar(The Uttam Hindu): Four young men died on the spot after their Creta SUV collided head-on with a truck late Sunday night near Nangthala village on the Agroha-Barwala Road in Hisar, Haryana. The collision occurred around 1 a.m. and was so intense that the car was completely crushed, trapping all four bodies inside. Locals rushed to the scene and alerted police, who had to cut open the car to retrieve the victims.

The deceased have been identified as Rammehar Poonia (27), Praveen Bhadu (28), Ravinder Sharma (24), all from Kirodi village, and Raju from Rajli village, who was Rammehar’s brother-in-law. Raju had come to deliver his sister’s traditional “kothli” and joined the others on their drive.

After the rescue, the bodies were taken to Agroha Medical College where doctors confirmed all four deaths. Identification was done through documents found in their pockets. The victims belonged to middle-class families, were either married or recently became fathers, and were unemployed, reportedly looking for jobs. Police have informed the families and initiated further inquiry into the accident.
