Tragic Birthday Return Ends in Horror: 5 of Same Family Killed in Road Crash

Mainpuri(The Uttam Hindu): A horrific road accident occurred in the Bewar police station area of Mainpuri district when an uncontrolled truck collided head-on with a Swift car on GT Road Highway, killing five members of the same family on the spot. One young girl sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

According to police officials, the family was returning from a birthday celebration in Agra and was en route to Chhibramau when tragedy struck. The car reportedly lost control, crossed the divider, and smashed into an oncoming truck at high speed.

The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, with eyewitnesses claiming it appeared to be split in two. Locals rushed to the scene, and within minutes, a massive crowd had gathered.

Police arrived shortly after being informed and immediately began rescue operations. The bodies were sent for postmortem, and traffic, which had come to a standstill, was gradually cleared. Vehicles were stuck in a long traffic jam for over an hour following the accident.
