Nikki Murder Case: Police Arrest Brother-in-law Who Was Absconding Since August 22

Noida (The Uttam Hindu): In the sensational Nikki murder case of Greater Noida, police have arrested the third accused, Rohit Bhati, who had been absconding since the incident. Earlier, Nikki’s husband Vipin and her mother-in-law were already arrested and sent to jail.
According to Kasna police, Rohit, who is the elder brother-in-law of the deceased, was arrested near Sirsa Toll on Monday based on manual intelligence and confidential inputs. A case had been filed against him at Kasna police station on August 22, after which he went into hiding.
On Sunday, police had arrested Nikki’s husband Vipin after an encounter. While being taken for recovery of flammable material, Vipin allegedly snatched a pistol from a policeman and opened fire at the police team. In retaliation, police shot him in the leg before nabbing him. He was later admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Subsequently, police also arrested Nikki’s mother-in-law, who was directly involved in the crime. With Rohit’s arrest, the investigation into the triple-accused family crime has intensified, as police continue to piece together the exact sequence of events leading to Nikki’s murder.
