New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, who is part of the opposition alliance INDIA, has given a big statement regarding 'Operation Sindoor'. He has termed the Indian Army's action against terrorism in Pakistan as a 'failed operation'. Along with this, Raut has once again demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This statement has come in the context of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, in which 26 tourists lost their lives.

Talking to journalists on Tuesday, Sanjay Raut said, "Look, I have said earlier that Operation Sindoor is a failed operation, but in the interest of the country, as the opposition leader, we do not want to talk much about it. The second question is why was there a need to do Operation Sindoor? This happened because terrorists killed 26 people in Pahalgam. The country's Home Minister Amit Shah is responsible for this."

Demanding Amit Shah's resignation, Rajya Sabha MP Raut said, "And to atone for that mistake, Amit Shah ji should resign from his post. If he does not resign, then the Prime Minister should fulfill his responsibility and take Amit Shah's resignation and sack him from the cabinet. And this same Amit Shah came yesterday and was giving us gyaan. You are responsible. This is not Operation Sindoor, but it has destroyed the sindoor of women."

He raised questions and said, where are the terrorists hiding? Are they hidden in Gujarat or Dahod? Modi ji was in Gujarat yesterday. These people were talking big from the village where Aurangzeb was born. You are responsible for this. Sindoor was destroyed because of you. Therefore, you should resign as a penance, but where were you yesterday….

It is noteworthy that in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army had attacked terrorist bases in Pakistan under 'Operation Sindoor' on May 7.
