New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A young man from Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district has stirred nationwide outrage after threatening spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj on social media. The threatening comment, made publicly on a Facebook post, has triggered deep concern among saints and followers of the Maharaj.

The youth, identified as Shatrughan Singh, wrote in the comment section: "If he had spoken about my home, I would’ve beheaded him—whether it was Premanand or anyone else." The post rapidly went viral, sparking a wave of condemnation. Notably, Singh’s profile claims he is a journalist.

Reacting strongly, Dinesh Falahari Baba, President of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas, said:

"We will not tolerate even a glance of disrespect towards Premanand Maharaj. We are ready to take a bullet to our chest for our saints. Even Kansa, who committed atrocities, met his end—this is Brijbhoomi, no criminal can touch him."

The outrage follows a recent viral video where Premanand Maharaj advised youth to stay away from destructive modern trends like casual relationships, breakups, and patch-ups. He criticized the growing culture of "boyfriend-girlfriend drama" that is, in his view, deteriorating young lives. It is believed this video provoked the hostile response from the Satna youth. Police involvement is expected soon as the matter continues to escalate online and among religious communities.
