Punjabi Actress Tania’s Father Shot Inside His Clinic, Pretended to Be Patients and Then Fired Bullets

Moga(The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident in Punjab’s Moga district, Dr. Aniljit Kamboj — father of popular Punjabi actress Tania — was shot by two unidentified youths inside his own clinic, Harbans Nursing Home, on Friday morning. The attack occurred barely 500 meters from the local police station, sending shockwaves through the town of Kot Ise Khan.

According to police, the assailants first visited the clinic around 11 AM under the pretense of seeking medicine for stomach pain. They left briefly, only to return at 11:30 AM when they fired multiple shots at Dr. Kamboj. Two bullets struck him, and he collapsed on the spot. The attackers fled on foot immediately after the shooting.

The terrifying assault was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the nursing home, which police have seized as part of their investigation. Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Gandhi confirmed the footage is being used to identify the shooters.

Currently, Dr. Kamboj is in critical condition and undergoing treatment at a private hospital. In a statement issued on behalf of Tania and her family, they requested privacy during this “extremely difficult and emotional time,” urging the media and public not to spread rumors or speculate about the incident.
