Rare Yogas on Last Sawan Monday: Powerful Shiv Puja Timing, Rituals & Astrological Significance Revealed

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The last Monday of the holy Sawan month, which holds immense spiritual importance for Lord Shiva devotees, will be observed on August 4 this year. What makes this day truly exceptional is the rare celestial alignment of Brahma Yoga, Indra Yoga, and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, creating a powerful opportunity for divine blessings. According to the Drik Panchang, sunrise will occur at 5:44 AM and sunset at 7:10 PM. Throughout the day, these rare yogas are believed to enhance the effectiveness of prayers, rituals, and spiritual practices.
Astrologers highlight that this combination of yogas is extremely rare and holds the potential to fulfill long-awaited desires, remove planetary doshas, and bring overall prosperity. The Brahma Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time for Shiva Abhishek, will be between 4:20 AM and 5:02 AM. During this sacred window, devotees can offer Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar), Ganga Jal, belpatra, dhatura, bhang, sandalwood, black sesame, jaggery, and seasonal fruits while chanting “Om Namah Shivaya.” The Moon’s transit through Scorpio in Anuradha and Chitra Nakshatras is said to further intensify the spiritual potency of the day. Devotees are encouraged to also recite the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, Shiv Chalisa, and Dwadasa Jyotirlinga Stotra for amplified spiritual benefits.
It is believed that sincere worship and fasting on the final Sawan Somvar can remove negative energy, calm troubled planets in one’s horoscope, and help manifest desires related to marriage, career, health, and wealth. This last Monday of Sawan in 2025 is being seen as a golden opportunity to seek Mahadev’s divine grace during an especially rare and auspicious astrological window.
