New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): Indian cricketer Yash Dayal, a fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Uttar Pradesh, has been booked by Ghaziabad Police following serious allegations made by a woman. The FIR was registered at Indirapuram police station after the woman accused him of emotional manipulation, mental harassment, sexual exploitation, and making a false promise of marriage.

According to the complainant, she was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for the past five years. During this time, she claims he introduced her to his family, who treated her like their daughter-in-law. She alleged that he built physical intimacy on the pretext of marriage, only for her to later realize it was a false promise. When she confronted him, she says she was subjected to mental and physical abuse.

The woman also alleged that Yash was involved with several other women. She claims to possess digital evidence, including chats, screenshots, and call recordings, to support her case. Although she first approached helpline 181 on June 14, she says no action was taken locally, prompting her to appeal to the Chief Minister’s office.

A case has been filed against Yash Dayal under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which criminalizes sexual relations under false promises of marriage. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
