A Swedish man has set a unique Guinness World Record by sticking not just one or two, but a multitude of matchsticks up his nose. In this video shared by Guinness World Records, Martin Strobe, a resident of Sweden, can be seen stuffing matchsticks into both nostrils. In the video, Martin confidently inserts the matchsticks one by one, gradually increasing their number. As painful as this scene may seem, Martin appears to perform it with equal ease. For the average person, this scene is quite shocking, but for Martin, it was an opportunity to create history.

The idea of breaking the record came after listening to the children.

The story behind this unusual record is quite interesting. Speaking to Guinness World Records, Martin explained that his children inspired him to achieve this feat. One day, he said, his children were flipping through the Guinness World Records book. They remarked how cool it would be if their father's name was included in the book.

"At first, I thought I wasn't good enough at anything to be the best in the world," Martin said. "But when the kids showed me all these different records, I started thinking, maybe there's a weird record I could break." The search for a "true record" began, and he eventually decided to put the most matchsticks in his nose.
