While videos and photos from the wedding have surfaced, the grand ceremony and religious theme are being widely praised, a controversy has also arisen regarding the garland ceremony and alleged heavy expenditure in the sanctum sanctorum of the Khajrana Ganesh Temple. Debate intensifies over Varmala ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum
In a video viral on social media, Anjanish Shukla and his bride can be seen performing the Varmala ceremony inside the sanctum sanctorum of Khajrana Ganesh Temple. Generally, entry of common devotees is restricted in the sanctum sanctorum, hence many people are raising questions on the basis on which special permission was given for the marriage ceremony to be held there. However, clarification has also been given by the temple administration and MLA supporters in this matter. They say that the program was organized as per religious traditions and no rules were violated in it.

Viral videos show the elaborately decorated wedding venue, a large number of guests, and the presence of several high-profile personalities. It's being reported that the ceremony was based on a religious theme, with statues of Hindu deities. A huge statue of Lord Shiva was installed on the main stage, before which the garland ceremony took place. Social media is also claiming that approximately ₹70 lakh was spent on fireworks alone.
While this high-profile wedding is making headlines for its grandeur and religious ceremony, the matter remains in constant discussion due to questions raised about the rules and traditions.
