Sirohi (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking and dangerous incident has emerged from Rajasthan's Sirohi district. In an attempt to become famous overnight and create a reel on social media, a young man washed his Scorpio car at a petrol pump with diesel instead of water. As soon as the video of this dangerous stunt went viral on social media, widespread outrage spread. However, this display of wealth proved so costly for these young men that the police took immediate action and put an end to their arrogance.

Police took strict cognizance of the viral video

After the video went viral, the police took the matter very seriously. Sirohi Superintendent of Police (SP) Pushpendra Singh immediately ordered an investigation and strict action. Acting swiftly, the police arrested the accused, Mahipal Singh, a resident of Chhiba village, and another accomplice. The Scorpio car used in the stunt has also been seized. Police officials clearly state that the accused acted solely to gain cheap popularity on social media and attempted to disrupt public order.

A small spark could have caused massive destruction

The viral reel clearly shows a man standing at a petrol pump, fearlessly pouring diesel into his vehicle by hand as if it were plain water. Diesel is a highly flammable substance, and even a spark at a highly sensitive location like a petrol pump could have caused a horrific and fatal accident. Fortunately, nothing untoward happened, but this act certainly put the lives of ordinary people at great risk.

Police warn those performing dangerous stunts

Locals strongly objected to this flagrant waste of fuel and the perceived threat to public safety. Recognizing the seriousness of the matter, the police took swift action, sending a strong message that such life-threatening stunts designed to garner likes and views on social media will not be tolerated at any cost. The administration has issued a stern warning that in the future, the strictest legal action will be taken against those who engage in such dangerous acts that endanger the lives of the public in public places.
