In the clip, the boy, identified as Rahul Kumar Yadav, is seen hanging out of the train with one foot on board and the other dragging on the platform. At one point, he even tries to snatch a woman's phone but fails due to the train's speed and distance.

In July 2024, a Mumbai teenager, Farhat Azam Shaikh, lost an arm and a leg while attempting a similar stunt.
