Etah (The Uttam Hindu): After the shameful incident in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, a sensational case of playing pornographic videos during the online meeting of the education department has come to light in Etah district. There was a stir in the meeting when a pornographic video was suddenly played in the presence of female teachers. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Basic Education Officer (BSA) ordered an immediate inquiry, after which a teacher has been suspended.

The incident is from Jalesar, a city area of Etah. According to the information, an online meeting of the education department was going on here, in which many teachers and female teachers were also connected along with the departmental officials. During this time, suddenly someone shared an obscene video in the group. As soon as they saw the video, everyone present in the meeting, especially the female teachers, became uncomfortable and left the meeting.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the video was immediately removed from the group, but by then many people had seen it. This information was immediately given to the higher authorities. Basic Education Officer of Etah, Dinesh Kumar Singh, handed over the investigation of the matter to Block Education Officer (BEO) Netra Pal Singh. After investigation, the BEO said that this obscene material was posted in the city area language group by the concerned teacher knowingly or unknowingly, due to which action of suspension has been taken against him.

It is worth noting that earlier on August 7, a similar incident had happened in Maharajganj district. During an e-chaupal organized on Google Meet in the Collectorate, in which many officials including the District Magistrate (DM) were present, a mischievous element connected to the link and played a porn video. In that case, the police had registered a case under the IT Act against two unknown people (Jashan JR and Arjun). The Kotwali police is trying to trace the accused through IP address with the help of the cyber team.
