Can one eat food for free at McDonald’s? Youth’s video claim gets exposed

New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Content creators often adopt new tricks to go viral on social media but sometimes these tricks also land them in controversies. One such case has come to light, where an Instagram user claimed that he ate free food 5 times at McDonald's by showing the same bill again and again. As soon as his video went viral a debate has started on social media, where some people are praising him, while most people are calling it a 'cheap act' and 'theft'.

In a video shared on Instagram by an account named _anuragrajput, the young man tells that he will try a trick at McDonald's. He picks up the bills thrown from the tables of customers who have already finished eating and goes to the counter and complains to the staff that his order has not yet arrived. The video shows that the staff apologizes and immediately gives him the order. The young man claims that by waiting for the staff to change he got free meals 5 times using this trick.

The video quickly went viral, garnering over 32,000 likes so far. However, in the comments section users were divided into two groups. Some users jokingly wrote, "Brother, now I am also going to do the same." While another wrote, "I will subscribe to your channel because I will be benefited."

But most users reprimanded the young man for this act. One user wrote, 'This is not called free food, but haram food.' Another wrote, 'The new generation has become so cheap.'

Many experienced and aware users exposed the young man's claim by calling it false. One user commented, 'Nothing like this happens, they just mark the order as 'delivered' in the system. Don't try this.' Another user explained, 'Usually there is a code on top of the bill and they have a monitor that shows the incoming and delivered orders. This video is made just for views.'
