According to the post, a Gen Z employee named Rohit had just joined a new company where a strict “no work from home” policy was announced on his very first day. Without questioning the rule, he followed it diligently—coming to the office on time, completing his work and logging off as soon as his shift ended. Everything went smoothly until one evening when he received a message from a client at around 8 pm.

Since his working hours were over, Rohit chose not to respond. The next day, his manager questioned him for ignoring the message and expected an explanation. However, Rohit calmly replied that responding from home after office hours would count as work from home, which the company had strictly prohibited. His logical response left the manager stunned.
