Twisted Tale of Betrayal: Wife Caught Poisoning Husband with Lover’s Help at Home

Fatehpur (The Uttam Hindu): A sensational case has come to light from Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh, where a wife tried to kill her husband by poisoning him after allegedly seeing him with another man. Fortunately, the husband's life was saved due to timely treatment. The accused wife is absconding since the incident and the police are being accused of being lax in the case.
This incident is from Radhanagar police station area. According to the information, the victim Hrithik Yadav works as a loader driver in Kanpur and was married to Sushila Yadav two years ago. Both of them lived in a rented house near Radhanagar Power House. Some time ago, on the request of his wife Sushila, Hrithik took her with him to Kanpur.
It is alleged that on July 16, when Hrithik suddenly returned home, he saw his wife Sushila in an objectionable condition with another man. After this incident, Hrithik came back to Fatehpur with Sushila on July 17 without saying anything.
The next day, on July 18, when Hrithik asked Sushila for water to drink, an angry Sushila mixed some poisonous substance in the water and gave it to him. As soon as Hrithik drank the water, his condition started deteriorating. Seeing his deteriorating condition, the neighbors immediately informed Hrithik's mother Rajni Yadav. The mother, who reached the spot, admitted her son to a private hospital, where the doctors saved his life by giving timely treatment.
The accused wife Sushila has absconded from the spot since the incident. The victim's mother Rajni Yadav has given a written complaint to the Radhanagar police station, but she alleges that despite giving the complaint, the police have neither registered a case nor taken any action to arrest the accused wife.
When the Radhanagar police station in-charge was contacted in this regard, he said, "The matter has come to notice and it is being investigated. Something can be said only after the investigation." At present, the police is avoiding giving any direct statement on this matter.
