According to reports, Alim (son of Munir), a resident of the village, had arrived late at night to meet his married girlfriend at her home. Hearing his footsteps, the villagers thought a thief had entered. Dodging the villagers' siege, Alim entered his girlfriend's home. To escape, the woman hid him under the bed (diwan). However, the villagers and family members became suspicious, and when the bed was opened, Alim was found there. The news spread like wildfire throughout the village.

Following the uproar, the woman's father-in-law filed a complaint at the Purakalandar police station. Police summoned both parties. During the interrogation and discussions, the situation took a completely different turn. The woman's husband lives abroad. When he was informed of the entire incident, he agreed to the marriage of his wife and Alim over the phone and wished them a happy new life.

After his son's consent, the father-in-law also showed a large heart. He gave the police a written letter stating that he did not want any legal action and agreed to the marriage for the happiness of his daughter-in-law. After this, Alim and the woman were married in the presence of the police and the entire village.
