Law Student Brutally Slapped 26 Times by Classmates in University Parking Lot, Video Goes Viral

Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu): A video of a student brutally beating up a classmate from a renowned university in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has created a stir. A law student was brutally beaten up by two of his classmates (a boy and a girl) in a car in the campus parking lot. The student was slapped 26 times in just one and a half minutes, the video of which is now going viral on social media.

In the video that is going viral, it is clearly visible that the victim student is sitting in the car and first a young man and then his female friend are continuously slapping him in turns. The accused are repeatedly threatening the student saying, remove your hand from in front of your face, otherwise you will get beaten more. The beating was so severe that the victim student was not able to control himself. The surprising thing is that during the beating, the accused kept getting a video of it made by one of their friends.

When this video went viral and reached the police, there was a stir in the department as well. Chinhat police station in-charge Dinesh Chandra Mishra said that a complaint letter has been received from the victim student. In the initial investigation, the case seems to be of personal rivalry. The police is investigating the entire matter thoroughly and soon action will be taken by registering a case against the accused seen in the video. This incident has once again raised serious questions on the safety of students within the university campus.
