Baghpat (Uttam Hindu News): A shocking incident has come to light from Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. An 18-year-old youth committed suicide by clinging to an electric transformer in the Baraut city Kotwali area. A live video of this heartbreaking incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera and is now rapidly going viral on social media. The incident has caused chaos in the deceased's family and has spread panic throughout the area.

Those 76 seconds of death captured on CCTV

A CCTV footage of 1 minute 16 seconds of the incident has surfaced, which has shocked the viewers. In the viral video, it can be clearly seen that Tarun Saini (18), son of Ramgopal Saini, a resident of Gandhi Road, reaches the transformer. Initially, he stands near the transformer for some time and uses his mobile phone very leisurely. After this, he suddenly switches off the mobile and tries to climb the transformer. As soon as he comes in contact with the high-tension wires, he gets a strong electric shock along with a bright light and bang and he falls down. He dies a painful death on the spot.


Mental stress or family feud?According to sources and people around him, Tarun had been troubled by something for some time. It is suspected that some mental stress or family feud may have led him to take this drastic step. However, the exact reason for his suicide has not yet been clearly confirmed.

Police engaged in investigation:

Upon receiving information about the incident, the distraught family members reached the spot and took Tarun to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The family is in deep shock due to the death of their young son. Based on the complaint of the family members, the police have taken the body into custody and started investigating the case. Based on CCTV footage and mobile call details, the police are trying to find out with whom Tarun was talking at the last moment or what was bothering him.
