Jammu (The Uttam Hindu): Sachin Chaudhary, a resident of Nepal, has set out on the Amarnath Yatra on a bicycle. His journey is not only religious, but also carries a social and environmental message. Through this special journey, Sachin is giving the message of water conservation to the countrymen.

Sachin told that it has been eight months and eight days since he left home. This is his second trip to India and this time his goal is to visit Baba Barfani. He told that he is currently on the Jammu-Kashmir highway and the journey here has been very positive so far. Sachin said that as soon as I entered Jammu, I got a lot of love and support. The fear we had about Jammu and Kashmir proved to be wrong. There is no religious discrimination here, Hindus and Muslims all live in unity and brotherhood.

Sachin told that on the way people provide them food, water and even a place to stay. In the Gurudwaras they were not only given food but also rooms to stay. The people of India are very nice. I have got more cooperation than I had thought. Praising the security arrangements, Sachin said that those who want to come to Amarnath in 2025 should come without any worry. Security forces are deployed here at various places.

Sachin says that wherever he stops during his journey, he advises people not to cut trees and plants and to save water sources. He says that only when trees remain, there will be water and only when water remains, we will survive. Stop cutting forests. Save water, save life.
