Saintly humility: Premananda Maharaj's act of devotion touches hearts; watch VIDEO

Sikar/Vrindavan (The Uttam Hindu): The true brilliance of saints is not reflected in their outward appearance, but in their humble inner self. A vivid example of this was recently witnessed in Vrindavan when Raiwasa Peethadhishwar Rajendra Das Ji Maharaj visited Vrindavan's renowned saint, Premananda Maharaj. The video of this spiritual encounter is now winning the hearts of millions on social media.
According to reports, this emotional meeting took place at Shri Radhahit Kelikunj. As soon as Premananda Maharaj saw Rajendra Das Ji approaching, despite his ill health, he rushed to the door to pay his respects. With compassionate eyes and a humble demeanor, he prostrated before the Raiwasa Peethadhishwar. Seeing this, Rajendra Das Ji also became emotional and bowed down to Premananda Maharaj.
What followed moved all the devotees present. Saint Premananda seated Rajendra Das Maharaj on his seat, washed his feet, and offered guru veneration.
The two saints then held a satsang. Saint Premanand Maharaj recited verses from Vinay Patrika, written by Agradevacharya, the founder of Raiwaspeeth, and Goswami Tulsidas. Despite Premanand Maharaj's refusal, Maharaj remained seated on the ground with folded hands. During this scene, while Rajendra Das Maharaj's face reflected a gentle smile and compassion, Premanand Maharaj's eyes welled with tears of humility. Seeing their beloved saint sitting on the ground with tears in his eyes, the devotees' eyes also became moist.
During the meeting, on the request of Premanand Maharaj, Raiwasa Peethadheeshwar Rajendra Das Maharaj also sang the couplet from Vinay Patrika, 'Priya Ram Naam Te Jahi Na Ramo' and the verse of the founder of Raiwasa Peeth, 'Pyaari Tere Naina'.
