Faridabad (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident of risking one's life in the pursuit of making a reel and showing off has come to light in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad district, Haryana. A video of three young men performing dangerous stunts in an open Thar jeep in Sector 65 has gone viral on social media. Following the video, Faridabad police took immediate action and issued a challan for the vehicle.

In this viral 42-second video, it can be clearly seen that young men riding in an old model open Thar are flouting traffic rules on the road. The limit was crossed when the young man sitting on the driving seat was seen controlling the steering with his feet instead of hands. During this, one of his companions was standing behind the vehicle, while the other young man was recording this dangerous stunt on his mobile. This incident is said to have happened on Friday evening, December 5th. When the local people present there saw these young men (whose age is between 18 to 20 years) doing this dangerous act on the road, they made a video and posted it on social media, after which it rapidly went viral.

As soon as the video reached the police, the administration swung into action. Faridabad police identified the vehicle based on the video and the very next day, i.e., December 6, took action under various sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and issued a post-mortem challan of Rs 7,000 to the Thar driver. Police officials say that such stunts not only endanger the lives of those performing them, but can also prove fatal for other innocent people walking on the road. The police have strictly instructed the youth to refrain from such acts.
