It is notable that just a few days earlier, another Indian citizen was killed in Toronto. A 30-year-old Indian woman, Himanshi Khurana, was allegedly murdered in the city. Police suspect her 32-year-old partner, Abdul Ghafoori, to be involved, and initial investigations indicate the case may be linked to intimate partner violence.
