New York (The Uttam Hindu): An Air Canada Express aircraft collided with a ground vehicle at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, triggering panic at the airport. Several people were reported injured in the incident.
According to flight-tracking website FlightRadar24, evacuation and rescue operations were immediately initiated at the airport. Passengers were safely taken out as emergency teams responded to the situation.

As per a notice issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a “ground stop” was ordered for all flights at the airport following the incident. The notice indicated that the halt was due to an emergency situation and could be extended further, although no detailed explanation was provided.
Authorities have not yet released complete details regarding the number of injured or the extent of damage caused.
Several videos of the incident have surfaced on social media, showing evacuation efforts underway. In one video, the front portion of the aircraft can be seen lifting upward by several degrees as passengers exited the plane.
