Another Hindu murdered in Bangladesh, locked inside house and set on fire; watch video

Dhaka (The Uttam Hindu) – In another horrific incident, Hindu resident Palash Kanti Saha was brutally murdered in Bangladesh's Pirojpur district. According to local sources and eyewitnesses, rioters first locked him in his home and then set it on fire. The video of the incident is horrifying, showing the burning house and people crying outside.

BJP leader Amit Malviya wrote on the social media platform X that attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh have reached alarming levels. He reported that the attack occurred around 6 a.m. on December 27th in Dumuria village, Pirojpur district. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers locked Palash Kanti Saha in his home and set it on fire. Just a day earlier, five houses belonging to two Hindu families were also set on fire in West Dumuriatala village, Pirojpur Sadar district.

In his post, Amit Malviya, referring to the violence in Malda and Murshidabad, said that such attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh are part of the same type of targeted violence. He added that during Mamata Banerjee's tenure, Hindu homes were also targeted, and many innocent people lost their lives. Malviya also questioned the silence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying that when people are being targeted based on their religious identity, the world cannot ignore it.
